People to People

People to People is a club I am part of on campus, and it is the best ever. Our mission is to make international students feel more comfortable on campus and letting the rest of the campus know that Southern really is a diverse place. We have students from Germany, Jamaica, Ecuador, Columbia, Haiti, and so much more. We have so much fun going into New Haven to restaurants and clubs, and we even held a food exchange at one of the officer’s houses where we each brought a dish to share (I brought Italian cookies). Today we had our first official meeting of the semester, and I’m hoping this time around will be even more successful and people around campus will actually want to get involved more than they did last time. We have displayed ourselves at both club fairs, so hopefully it’ll be even more out there than last semester.

Here is a few of us at the end of our last meeting last semester. :)
